The quaint village of Waterville and adjoining township of Monclova has been an area which has seen significant growth while maintaining much of it’s small town charm. Waterville has recently been named the safest city in Ohio. The annual Roche de Boeuf Festival and parade is a celebration of the town’s historic outcropping of rock along the Maumee River, long used as a meeting place for Native American tribes before European settlers. This area is a family-friendly area with beautifully maintained parks and wonderful schools. Many newer upscale subdivisions are intertwined with sprawling rural homesteads. It is an area embracing new development while honoring it’s heritage.
